Magnets could’ve been stronger
Hi there, thanks for your feedback!
Broke first night I used it.
Hi there, we’re sorry to hear about your experience, but we need a bit more detail to know exactly what happened. We recently identified an issue with insufficient threadlocker application on some early units that results in the key coming unscrewed, which is easily resolved by reapplying permanent threadlocker to secure the threads. If you need further assistance, please reach out to our support with the details so we can assist.
The key portion of the cuff key is threaded into the body. When unlocking a set of cuffs, the key unscrews from the body of tool. It can be retightened, but with time will come unscrewed again. Big oversight which could have been corrected by reverse threading the key or securing it with lock-tite or pinning it after assembly. Real pain if you’re attempting to uncuff or adjust cuffs on an already unhappy “customer”.
The pocket clip should also allow for deeper carry.
Too many issues for a $25 tool that should be pretty foolproof.
Hey there. Thanks for sharing your feedback. The threaded portions should have threadlocker applied to prevent this from happening, so we're sorry you experienced this. We recommend applying a small drop of permanent threadlocker on it to prevent it from happening again. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!
well made good concept
Thank you for the positive feedback!
The concept is amazing, I finally got mine a couple days ago and I’ve used it daily. All parts work almost perfectly! One small issue does occur, when uncuffing a double locked cuff, the “key” part of the tool seems to unscrew, and not work, I fixed this by tightening it back on and so far has been working fine.
