I’m currently on my third pair of these gloves. They are by far the best police oriented glove I have used so far, but they’re not perfect. Here are my opinions after about a year of use.

1. They have the best dexterity on the market. Other common gloves like mechanix and PIG lack the dexterity these have especially when it comes to searches. So far I haven’t missed even the smallest item like a crumpled paper while searching with these gloves, where I have missed a lot before with other less purpose built brands.
2. These gloves have an excellent palm material. Unlike mechanicx which have a cloth material on the palm that instantly gets disgusting, especially if you’re working in a low income city environment, or PIG, which are useless when using rails or other things you may need to grab when transporting an unruly prisoner, these gloves have a surface that’s much easier to use. It’s water resistant and doesn’t absorb nastiness like mechanix does, while maintaining a flexible grip.
3. If you work in a hot and humid place like I do, these gloves are breathable and lightweight that you can wear them for an extended period without sweating them out.
4. The only thing keeping me from giving a 5 star review is these gloves one fatal flaw. The velcro on the back of the gloves is a self destruction device. Every time you take off the gloves, they stick to the back side of the glove to the metallic wire portion. This rapidly degrades the gloves and leaves them and causes metal splinter like protrusions to irritate the skin. After only a month of use you can see significant wear from this. I feel as though this could be remedied with a rubber speed bump type of attachment to the back near the Velcro to prevent sticking, or a thin piece of rubber where the sticking typically occurs.
These gloves are by far the best on the market for the task at hand. I have seen them rapidly grow in use in my unit/station since I started using them, but they’re in need of a 2.0 version to fix point number 4 in my opinion.
